Compression heights on modern motors are critical, all motors have piston heights checked and are machined to manufacture specifications.

Some cylinder heads need to have Precombustion Chambers machined or replaced. We are one of the few Engine Reconditioners that are able to set Precups Heights.

Crankshafts are checked and either reground or replaced, Head Exchange will not fit a crankshaft ground to more than 0.020”.

The motor is now being assembled using angle torque gauge. All timing marks will be paint marked and photographed for future reference.
