Any stubborn bits of carbon are wet blasted. This again is re-circulated, so there is no waste and zero emission to our environment.

Now the product is clean we can check for defects and hardness of the metal. All heads are Hardness tested and rejected if hardness is below 75 Brinell.

To confirm that there are no bent valves, our technician will grind the valve face. If valves are bent the face will not clean up, any valves bent or worn will be replaced.

Our technician now have to check heads are not cracked or any unseen pin holes. This is either done with Ultra Sonic Light, for Cast Iron or pressure test plate, for alloy, sometimes both methods are used, especially in Diesel.
